We would like to honor him by offering this scholarship to one male graduating senior and one female graduating senior who exemplify the highest standards of citizenship through strong character and dedication to community service. We would like to honor Joseph’s life by offering a scholarship to one male graduating senior and one female graduating senior who exemplify the highest standards of citizenship through strong character and dedication to community service.

This is considered a fund not a scholarship because our goal is to not only give a scholarship to two Waldwick High School students in SSGT Joseph D'Augustine's name per year but also help the military personnel who served directly or indirectly with him and military personnel still serving. Whether it be giving the soldier's child a scholarship, sending packages to military personnel on holidays, helping injured military personnel with their bills, anything that we can help with.
